For intermediate golfers, the Junior Golf Academy teaches students the principles of golf, techniques in playing golf, and nine holes of golf play on the course in a fun, camp-like setting. New this year are smaller class sizes to enhance individual learning with Golf Professional, Ken Malnar. Golf instruction covers: putting, chipping, pitching, sand bunker, full swing (irons and driving). Each class day includes: 1 hour of golf instruction, 1/2-hour lunch and 2 hour’s nine holes of golf. 

Pre-qualification:  To enroll, students are expected to understand and follow courserules, safety, and etiquette. The Flagg Creek G.C. has rangers (player assistants) that patrol the course for safety and speed of play, however, all students are required tohave some knowledge and experience to play golf unsupervised within their foursome (there will be no chaperons accompanying on-course group play). If you need more experience, join us first in the Junior Golf Clinics level 1 & level 2.

Foursomes: We pair students together by age and ability. If you have any special request to play with someone, please note your pairing request on the application form. 

Weather: Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions of the day. If inclement weather, please still come to class—we may have a rain delay as much as one hour. The rain-out reschedule date is Friday, August 20 from 10:00am–2:00pm.

Absences: Juniors that are absent will be unable to make up that day’s golf lesson, but
will receive a green fee and lunch ticket for future use.
